On October 22, the “Chinese Corner” at Tashkent Campus NWAFU was officially established, thanks to the joint and meticulous preparation of Chinese-teaching volunteers Zhang Fei and Deng Shufang from the College of Language and Culture, together with Professor Lan Xianyong from the College of Animal Science and Technology. At the event, Professor Lan Xianyong and Mukhtarov Fikrat, Head of the International Relations Department of Tashkent State Agrarian University, delivered speeches on behalf of the Chinese and Uzbek sides respectively, extending their congratulations on the establishment of the “Chinese Corner.”

Since its establishment, the “Chinese Corner” has quickly become a highly regarded cultural exchange platform on campus. It has not only attracted the active participation of university leaders and visiting scholars from Tashkent State Agrarian University, but has also received high praise. Vice Rector Abduvasikov Abduaziz Abdulazizovich visited the venue in person for observation and exchanges. He fully affirmed the guiding philosophy and operational model of the “Chinese Corner,” expressing his hope that it would become an important bridge connecting China–Uzbekistan educational cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, injecting new vitality into cultural mutual learning between the two countries. Meanwhile, multiple groups of students from different majors enthusiastically joined the activities. In a relaxed and enjoyable interactive atmosphere, they learned everyday Chinese expressions and shared cultural stories from China and Uzbekistan. Their strong interest and active enthusiasm in learning Chinese created a warm and lively atmosphere at the event.
As a new vehicle for China–Uzbekistan educational cooperation, the establishment of the “Chinese Corner” has not only enriched the language-learning resources available to the faculty and students of Tashkent State Agrarian University, providing them with an immersive platform for learning Chinese, but has also created opportunities for in-depth exchange among young people from both countries, helping to enhance mutual understanding and foster cross-border friendships. Moving forward, the “Chinese Corner” will continue to plan and host a variety of activities, including Chinese conversation sessions, cultural experiences, and thematic salons. These efforts will further strengthen the foundation for educational resource development at Tashkent Campus NWAFU and promote China–Uzbekistan educational cooperation and cultural exchange toward broader and deeper dimensions.
