On June 3, as an important part of the construction of our Tashkent Campus, the Tashkent Chinese Language Education Center, jointly established with Tashkent State Agrarian University of Uzbekistan, officially began classes. Zhang Anqi, a teacher from the Department of Russian of the College of Language and Culture, served as the first dispatched instructor.

The first Chinese language course attracted nearly 40 participants and is scheduled Monday through Friday, with morning and afternoon sessions providing comprehensive training in listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation. In addition to fundamental language skills, a variety of cultural activities were carefully organized during the one-month teaching period, including events for the Dragon Boat Festival, providing Chinese language instruction to faculty, students, and surrounding communities of Tashkent State Agrarian University, promoting Chinese agricultural culture. These activities opened a new chapter for Chinese language education in Uzbekistan. Vice Rector Abduvasikov Abduaziz Abdulazizovich of Tashkent State Agrarian University expressed his expectation to further strengthen cooperation between the two universities and their language teaching and research departments. He stated that the Uzbek side will intensify publicity to attract more students to study Chinese, and hopes that more teachers will go to Uzbekistan for teaching and exchange, promoting the joint development of education between the two sides.

To implement the outcomes of the China–Central Asia Summit, the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Government and the Ministry of Agriculture Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan reached a consensus to entrust our university, together with Tashkent State Agrarian University, to jointly establish the Tashkent Chinese Language Education Center, which was officially inaugurated earlier this year. Currently, in order to further promote the deep integration of agricultural education models between China and Uzbekistan, the construction of our Tashkent Campus has strengthened top-level design and undergone thorough scientific evaluation. The College of Animal Science and Technology, the College of Horticulture, and the College of Economics and Management serve as the main units for faculty, research, and degree applications. Both Chinese and Uzbek sides jointly formulate training programs and adopt a joint recruitment and training model, relying on Tashkent State Agrarian University, primarily targeting students from Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries. This initiative provides a platform for sustainable exchange and cooperation in China–Uzbekistan agricultural science and education.
