From November 13 to 25, Professor Li Hua and Associate Professor Zhang Xiaohui from the College of Economics and Management traveled to the Tashkent Campus, where they successfully completed the teaching of the core course Frontiers in Management Theory and Practice for the 2025 cohort of the Masters Program in Agriculture (Agricultural Management).

As Frontiers in Management Theory and Practice was taught at the branch campus for the second time, Professor Li Hua and Associate Professor Zhang Xiaohui carried out comprehensive and in-depth localization of the course in response to the characteristics and needs of the students at the Tashkent Campus. During the teaching process, the two professors focused on the core theme of Frontiers and Practice in Management, systematically explained the latest theories in contemporary management, and, through vivid domestic and international case analyses and interactive discussions, stimulated studentsinterest and initiative in learning, creating a dynamic and engaging classroom atmosphere. As one of the first colleges to enroll students at the Tashkent Campus in 2024, the College of Economics and Management also enabled the two teachers, through this teaching experience, to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges brought by language and cultural differences and to accumulate valuable experience in addressing them.

Professor Li Hua stated: The infrastructure at the branch campus has improved, and the teaching environment has been significantly enhanced. This year, studentsChinese and English proficiency has noticeably improved compared with last year. Graduate teaching volunteers from the College of Language and Culture have also established a Chinese Cornerat the campus. Now, the students can understand some basic Chinese, and communication between teachers and students has become much smoother.

This teaching session marked the second successful delivery of the course at the Tashkent Campus. It not only brought cutting-edge knowledge of management to the students, but also further deepened international educational exchange and cooperation between the College and the Tashkent Campus. From May to August this year, the College carefully organized four rounds of admission interviews for international students of the 2025 cohort at the Tashkent Campus. After rigorous selection, a total of eight students were admitted, and each was matched with a supervisor, providing personalized and professional academic guidance for their future studies. At the same time, the infrastructure development of the Tashkent Campus has been gradually improved. On July 10 this year, the teaching building of the Tashkent Campus was officially put into use. Facilities such as modern smart classrooms are now fully in place, providing strong support for diversified teaching activities and creating a favorable learning and teaching environment.
