From November 11 to 13, at the invitation of Tashkent State Agrarian University, Vice President Ma Chuang led a delegation to attend the university’s 95th anniversary celebration, joining representatives from agricultural universities in multiple Belt and Road countries to discuss cooperation. Representatives from more than 70 countries, officials from international organizations, renowned experts and scholars, as well as agricultural science and technology professionals also participated in the event.

At the anniversary ceremony, Ma Chuang, on behalf of all faculty members and students of our university, extended sincere congratulations to Tashkent State Agrarian University. He reviewed the achievements the two universities have made in education and teaching, scientific research, and talent cultivation, and expressed hope that the two institutions will take greater strides in areas such as branch campus development, joint laboratory establishment, and the demonstration and promotion of agricultural technologies. He added that he looked forward to the two universities jointly opening a new chapter in international cooperation in agricultural higher education.
Ma Chuang and his delegation also presented academic works such as Agriculture in Five Central Asian Countries and Research on Food Issues in Shanghai Cooperation Organization Countries to Tashkent Campus NWAFU. They visited and expressed their care to the students there, held in-depth discussions on topics including academic coursework and internship opportunities, and encouraged the students to study diligently and strive for early success.
Leaders from the College of Languages and Cultures, as well as resident staff of Tashkent Campus NWAFU, accompanied the delegation throughout the activities.
