To enhance Tashkent Campus students’ understanding of the university’s history, cultural heritage and features, an immersive educational activity on university history and disciplinary culture was organized on March 20, where Tashkent Campus students walked into the University History Museum and Garden Museum of NWAFU.
Inside the University History Museum, Qiu Lan, an international student of NWAFU, gave a clear and fluent explanation, systematically sorting out the university’s development context, school-running traditions and cultural spirit. The students visited the exhibition areas including the Panorama of University History, Past University Leaders, Portraits of Distinguished Professors and Scholars, and Restoration of Teaching Scenes in turn. Through carriers such as historical documents, video materials and cultural relic exhibits, the profound cultural accumulation and brilliant development course of the university were fully displayed. During the visit, the campus students listened carefully, observed meticulously, stopped to communicate, and deeply felt the university’s historical heritage and the open and inclusive school-running pattern.

Subsequently, the students went to Museum Garden of NWAFU for on-site learning. Qiu Lan briefly introduced the construction overview, functional layout and popular science value. Wandering around, the students observed and inquired as they listened, and further learned about the university’s outstanding achievements in agricultural and forestry science and education, specimen collection, germplasm resource protection and popular science education.

This visit and practical activity is not only a university history and culture education, but also a practical activity of disciplinary cognition and cultural exchange. It has built an important platform for Tashkent Campus students to understand the university history, perceive the campus culture and disciplinary strength, and enhanced their understanding of China’s education, science and technology and culture.
