On the morning of September 19, a delegation of senior officials from the United Nations Development Programme, together with members of the Uzbek Parliament, paid a friendly visit to Tashkent Campus NWAFU. They also held an engaging and fruitful exchange session with teachers and students from the branch’s Chinese language classes.

Accompanied by Mr. Oblomuradov Narzullo Naimovich, Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University, and Mr. Abduvasikov Abduaziz Abdulazizovich, Vice Rector, the UNDP senior officials and Uzbek parliament members visited a Chinese language classroom. They observed the teaching in action and were deeply impressed by the students’ enthusiasm, the teachers’ professionalism, and the lively interaction between teachers and students.
During the exchange session, the UNDP senior officials and Uzbek parliament members warmly greeted the students in the Chinese language class and expressed high appreciation for their clear and fluent Chinese. Teacher Zhang Naidan, representing the faculty, briefly introduced the course structure and teaching features of the Chinese program. The Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University delivered a speech, expressing gratitude to the UNDP and the Uzbek government for their concern and support for the branch’s development, and highlighting the crucial role of Chinese language education in cultivating internationally-oriented agricultural talent. The guests encouraged the students to cherish their learning opportunities and to become outstanding champions for China–Uzbekistan friendship and pragmatic cooperation in the future.
This visit not only deepened mutual understanding and collaboration among international organizations, local government, and educational institutions, but also fully showcased the College of Language and Culture’s role as a bridge in promoting China–Uzbekistan cultural exchange and agricultural science and technology cooperation.
