Tashkent Campus NWAFU Launches the First Session of “Experience China” Activity

On March 6th, the College of International Education launched the first session of the “Experience China” activity at its Tashkent Campus, helping international young people explore and understand China.

At the first themed case teaching seminar, the research team led by Yan Xiaohuan from the College of Economics and Management and the team headed by Li Jianming from the College of Horticulture delivered wonderful special reports in succession. Centering on the technological empowerment of characteristic fruit industry and the innovative development of desert protected agriculture respectively, the two teams conducted in-depth explanations combined with frontline practical cases. They systematically elaborated on China’s experience and practical paths for invigorating agriculture through science and technology and boosting rural prosperity through industrial development, and fully demonstrated China’s innovative explorations and remarkable achievements in the fields of agricultural modernization and rural revitalization. The teaching content integrated theory with practice, featured both professionalism and practicality with detailed information and vivid cases, offering the international students a profound and vivid practical lesson.

Rooted in the demand for international talent cultivation, this series of activities breaks disciplinary barriers and integrates the advantageous resources of multiple disciplines such as agronomy, economics and management, and information technology. It guides international students to comprehend China’s solutions, understand China’s wisdom and experience China’s development in real scenarios. It not only helps international students quickly adapt to the study and living environment in China, but also deepens their understanding of China’s development path and their emotional recognition and appreciation of Chinese society and culture. Meanwhile, it enhances international students’ cross-cultural communication competence as well as their practical and innovative abilities.
