The First Winter Camp of Tashkent Campus NWAFU Officially Concludes

On December 19, the Closing Ceremony of the First Winter Camp of Tashkent Campus NWAFU was held in the 107 Conference Room of the College of International Education. The President of the Tashkent Campus, Hu Xiaohui, attended the event and delivered a speech.

Hu Xiaohui extended sincere congratulations to the participants who successfully completed all the activities. She noted that while the 10-day gathering was brief, the friendship formed between the teachers and students of both universities would last long. The participants deeply integrated into the campus, engaged in academic exchanges at the specialized academic institutes of the Tashkent Campus, experienced the unique charm of Chinese traditional customs through calligraphy and paper-cutting, visited the University History Museum to trace the history and development of the university, and explored historical and cultural landmarks such as the Terracotta Army and the Ancient City Wall to touch the profound historical heritage of China. They also visited the Museum Garden to observe the application of modern agricultural technologies up close, immersing themselves in China’s cultural and agricultural vitality in a comprehensive and immersive experience.

After the speech, Hu Xiaohui presented completion certificates to all the participants. She encouraged them to carry the insights and warm memories from their visit to China and share their experiences and stories with classmates and family members. She hoped they would build bridges of mutual understanding between China and Uzbekistan through a youthful perspective, enabling more people in Uzbekistan to appreciate China’s cultural depth and dynamic development, as well as to recognize the practical achievements and potential of China-Uzbekistan agricultural cooperation. She also warmly welcomed them to actively apply for programs at the Tashkent Campus and looked forward to seeing them again in China and Yangling to continue deepening academic discussions and cultural exchanges.

In her speech, Akabirova Diloro Nigmatovna, a faculty member at Tashkent State Agrarian University, expressed her sincere gratitude to our university for meticulously organizing the winter camp. She stated that the camp’s rich content not only allowed participants to systematically learn about China’s agricultural science and technological innovations but also gave them a firsthand experience of the Chinese people’s warmth and friendship, as well as the deep bond between China and Uzbekistan. The experiences, insights, and knowledge gained by the participants would serve as an important link to further deepen cooperation between the two universities and inject new vitality into the development of the Tashkent Campus.

At the closing ceremony, the participants shared their experiences and reflections from the winter camp. They all expressed that this trip to China was unforgettable, as it not only broadened their academic horizons and enhanced cultural identity but also forged deep cross-border friendships. They pledged to actively spread the friendship between China and Uzbekistan and promote cooperation between the two countries in the future. With completion certificates in hand, the participants beamed with joy and expressed that they would cherish this special honor and memory.
