Notice on Recruiting Chinese Language Teachers and Volunteers for Tashkent Campus NWAFU

Dear Faculty and Students,

Tashkent Campus NWAFU and Tashkent Chinese Language Education Center NWAFU have now fully launched their operations. The College of Language and Culture is responsible for teaching courses in Chinese language, Chinese culture, and Chinese training. To further build our teaching team and expand our influence, we are now recruiting 4–5 Chinese teachers and volunteers from across the college to go to the Tashkent Campus NWAFU in Uzbekistan before September 2025 to carry out Chinese teaching work.

I. Recruitment Requirements

1. Abide by the Constitution and laws, support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, have a passion for education, adhere to professional ethics for teachers, and implement educational policies conscientiously.

2. Be in good physical and mental health; no age limit for teachers; volunteers must be 18 years old or above.

3. Have strong organizational discipline, a sense of responsibility, good teamwork skills, and cross-cultural communication abilities.

4. Hold relevant academic backgrounds in Chinese, Russian, English, Education, or related fields.

5. Have a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate of Level 2-B or above.

6. Teachers: Recruitment is open to all in-service faculty across the college. Preference will be given to those holding the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Language (CTCSOL), with international Chinese teaching experience, or proficiency in the local language.

7. Volunteers: Recruitment is open to all enrolled students. Preference will be given to MTI graduate students and senior students majoring in Chinese International Education.

II. Job Responsibilities

1. Teach graduate courses Chinese culture and Chinese language at Tashkent Campus NWAFU.

2. Conduct Chinese training courses at Tashkent Chinese Language Education Center NWAFU.

3. Participate in the development of Chinese teaching resources for Uzbekistan and related research work.

4. Perform other tasks assigned by the College.

5. The duration of each assignment is 1 month for teachers and 3 months for volunteers.

III. Benefits

During the overseas assignment, benefits will be provided in accordance with relevant national regulations. For assignments within 180 days, the Measures for the Administration of Northwest A&F University Staff Going Abroad will apply. For continuous teaching assignments of 180 days or more (inclusive), the Regulations on Living Allowances for State-sponsored Teachers Going Abroad (Cai Jiao [2023] No. 82) will apply. Student volunteers will be reimbursed for round-trip international travel and insurance, and receive a monthly allowance at 50% of the National Scholarship Standard for State-Sponsored Students Going Abroad (Cai Ke Jiao [2019] No. 6). Teachers will receive a teaching quality allowance in accordance with the university’s standards for graduate-level teaching allowances.

IV. Recruitment Procedure

1. Application

2. Qualification Review and Interview

The College of Language and Culture will conduct a qualification review of applicants, finalize the list of candidates for the interview, and conduct on-site interviews. Specific interview times will be notified separately.
